What government needs.

Everybody wants to fix things, both left and right. What we have is a war between ends and means. The left in particular cares little about means as long as they fix the current problem at hand. They don’t care if it creates other problems in the process. In fact, most politicians (left and right) want to fix things in a way that creates other problems, so they have job security; so you have to continuously rely on them.

Libertarians want to fix things in a way where you don’t have to rely on anyone; or at least have the option to choose who you rely on. The libertarian purist would say that ends never justify means. They would say that initiation of force against a person or their property to correct anything is objectively morally wrong. Defensive force is okay.

There are other libertarians that would argue that initiation of force is okay on extremely rare occasions. Every one except the libertarian purist would have exceptions to “ends never justify means”. Considering that there are many different political issues republicans and democrats of all kinds pick and choose what those exceptions are.

We need the type of people in our government that will change things in a way that will make their own jobs obsolete. Then the money that would go to them can go back into the market for every one to use. The problem is that it is too easy to misuse power intentionally or not. The type of people that we need in the government are the type of people that don’t like power but will use defensive force to eliminate the power that already exists.

The goth subculture is one of the most misunderstood subcultures check out the first couple links to understand what goth is all about. If you are interested check out the rest. I’ve done a lot of research on this over many years. These sum up most of it and it describes me very well.

Why Christians should vote libertarian v.01

*this is currently just a partial outline of stuff I will add more and form it into an article eventually.

As these verses demonstrates seemingly bad things will happen we should not try to prevent them. If the bible says certain things are going to happen then we are foolish to try to prevent them.

Matthew 16:21-23

21 From that time Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised. 22 And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, “Far be it from you, Lord! This shall never happen to you.” 23 But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”

No where in the bible does it say we should use politics to force non-Christians to do Christian things. It does suggest the opposite. However we can still teach and guide people on how to be Christian on a personal level. Freedom is the best teacher. However, it must be true freedom not the kind the protects people from the consequences of their actions.

Revelation 22:6-13

6 And he said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place.” 7 “And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” 8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, 9 but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”10 And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. 11 Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.” 12 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

What does the new marriage ruling really mean?

original from 2015

There still seems to be some confusion about the new ruling on gay marriage. What it means is that the states are not allowed to make it illegal. It does not mean that churches are forced to do gay marriages, although they can if they want to. We have had multiple definitions of marriage for a long time now. From a Christian perspective a marriage is a union between God and 2 people. We already had another form of marriage that excludes God. If 2 atheists wanted to get married they could go to the government and get a marriage license that is a union between 2 people without God. (this is the right that was given to gays) If Christians had a problem with redefining marriage they should have been fighting to get the government out of marriage a long time ago. And I say get out of marriage because, that is the best alternative instead of trying to have the government side with just Christians because then you don’t have freedom in a country that is supposed to be free and a religion that is supposed to be free. If this was done a long time ago then Christians could have copyrighted the term marriage at the beginning of copyrights. Then other people would have to use other terms to signify their union. Even now the definitions of a Christian marriage is not what it was meant to be. It should be a union between 2 people and God. It is now a union between 2 people, God and, the government.

The government should have no say on any union as long as the people involved are willing. If these unions end up being bad then the people involved in them will reap what they sow. God doesn’t go around interacting in peoples lives without their consent to prevent them from sinning. He lets people sin in hoping that they learn from it. We should not hold ourselves above God to do that either.

To many people, the bible does seem to say that certain unions would be bad. But the bible is for Christians to use if they want to follow God not other people.  (They will reap what they sow if they don’t) Nowhere in the bible does it say to force our ideas on people through politics. As a matter of fact it seems to speak against that. (see pic) This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to educate people and show them what we believe. When any one starts forcing their ideals through politics, it is going to make them look bad and people will hate them and leave them. The only things that should be laws are things that people can unanimously or nearly unanimously agree on. If something is bad then people will reap what they so and hopefully learn from whatever it is. Then they will move more towards a unanimous law against it. People need to learn from the consequences of their actions and our government too often protects people from the consequences of their actions.

emo vs scene vs goth (music edition) (simple version)

original from 2010

emo vs scene vs goth (music edition) (simple version)

this is a basic dispaly of the different music styles
I’m working on another one that covers other aspects besides music

emo = type of alt rock branch of puck music

Emo broke into mainstream culture in the early 2000s with the platinum-selling success of Jimmy Eat World and Dashboard Confessional and the emergence of the subgenre “screamo”. In recent years the term “emo” has been applied by critics and journalists to a variety of artists, including multiplatinum acts and groups with disparate styles and sounds.

scene = same as emo only harder stuff as well.

goth = branch of punk as well but it goes in a different direction. It really has branched out into lots of different styles including: electronic, industrial, some metal. by this i mean that some of these styles have very heavy goth influences. and some artists make multiple types of music…

but this is the foundation of goth.

😀

conclusion
a lot of bands aren’t just one style of music and sometimes they borrow from other subcultures thats why there are debates on what they are. so to settle this all the punks goths and rivetheads should kill every one else..
